Masters Degree Study Departments
Master’s degree in Jewish History
The Department of Jewish History combines the program of History of the Jewish People and the program of Jewish Thought. This unique combination enables the Department to offer flexible, diverse, and innovative programs that focus on Jewish history and Jewish thought from biblical times to the present day.
By studying the history of the Jewish people, one can also learn about human culture in all its aspects and diversity. The history of the Jewish people is not detached from the history, culture, society, and religion of the nations that Jewish people settled in, but the history of those nations cannot be understood without also examining the Jews’ contributions to these areas.
