Ph.D. Study Departments
Ph.D in Psychology
The Ph.D. program trains graduates for positions in research and teaching and for positions where they can apply their knowledge in a practical way in the different areas of psychology. The Department of Psychology considers doctoral students an important part of the team and expects them to be part of departmental activities as required.
The program is divided into two stages:
Research Stage I—is dedicated to writing the research proposal (up to one year).
Research Stage II—is dedicated to researching and writing the doctoral thesis (up to three years).
Employment opportunities for Ph.D. graduates: Psychology research; teaching psychology in universities, colleges, and schools; applied psychology according to Ph.D. program chosen: individual / group / organization-based therapy for adults and children (for healthy and special needs populations); work in marketing companies and high tech.
