Ph.D in Community Mental Health
The Department of Community Mental Health offers a Ph.D. degree program.
The aims of this program are to study the community and its development by means of innovative research which strives for excellence in fields that are relevant to community mental health problems.
These aims reflect our belief in the importance of participating in a research community made up of students, lecturers, and supervisors who offer each other mutual inspiration. This community, which closely observes circumstances and changes in research of the field and even affects them, has the capacity to break ground for new knowledge and creativity, which will expand and deepen society’s understanding of mental health issues. We invite people with the ability and perseverance who are interested in expanding their knowledge in this field, to join us in the Ph.D. program. The doctoral dissertation can be written both as an essay and as articles, in accordance with the Ph.D. Regulations prescribed by the Graduate Studies Authority.
