Archaeology is the study of ancient cultures in Israel and elsewhere based on the study of findings such as different types of structures and artifacts. Studies in the Department of Archaeology provide theoretical studies alongside practical work in the field and the laboratory. Studies in the Department of Archaeology explore a wide range of subjects related to archaeology in Israel, its neighboring countries, and the lands of the Mediterranean basin, from the Prehistoric Age to the Middle Ages.
Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in archaeology or a related subject with a grade point average of 76-80, according to the program.
