Master’s degree in Special Education
-depth study of theoretical, research and practical aspects in the various fields of special education, including focusing on developmental disabilities and communication disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, sensory disabilities, and specialization in early childhood. The central aim of the Master’s degree studies in this Department is to create a broad infrastructure of knowledge, thinking and skills, which will enable the student to fill senior positions in the fields of research and education of populations with special-needs, and to prepare for doctoral studies. The program is based on Bachelor’s degree studies in Special Education (or supplementary studies serving as a prerequisite). In order to work in the education system, a teaching certificate is required, for which students may study within the Department. (Studies towards a Master’s degree in Special Education do not grant a teaching certificate).
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a grade point average of at least 85 Passing an English entrance exam with a grade of at least 75 (see the entrance exam dates tab)
