Master’s degree in English Language and Literature
The studies deepen and enrich the students’ knowledge of English literary culture, consisting of American, British, African, Indian and Palestinian literature. The studies grant an extensive knowledge of the English language and literature. Studies in the Department train students for literary research.
Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in English language and/or literature or a related field (for the supplementary program), a grade point average of 80 or higher and passing the entrance exam

Studies in the department are in two tracks:
Research track (Track A) – including writing a final research paper (thesis)
Final exam track (Track B) – non-thesis track
Employment options after graduation: Teaching in schools (for graduates with a teaching certificate) and in academia, continuing with a research program in literature. Employment in literary criticism and review, creative writing.
