Occupational therapy is a healthcare profession. As an interdisciplinary profession, it includes aspects of medical and social sciences. The work of the occupational therapist includes : diagnosis, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, education, advice, prevention, and research.
The curriculum combines theoretical and practical studies from social and behavioral sciences, medical sciences and occupational therapy. In addition, fieldwork placements are provided in the various occupational therapy settings

- General university admission requirements as specified on the website
- A weighted grade of 640
- A department interview.
- Departmental English requirements : Candidates’ knowledge of English must meet the proficiency standards set at the level termed “Advanced A”
- Score of 120 in the YAEL—Hebrew Proficiency Test for candidates from non-Hebrew schools.
The Occupational Therapy Department awards a Bachelor’s degree in a single major program.
