The aim of the Medical Science program, and especially the pre-clinical, pre-medical studies, is to provide a broad knowledge base in human biology, the mechanisms of vital processes including the biological basis for human behavior—in health and normal functioning versus disease and malfunction.

The program uniquely aims to offer graduates a broad base, including lab experience, in the life sciences, at the level of a B.Sc. in biology, and to introduce basic concepts and basic practical experience for understanding the medical profession.
