Undergraduate Degree in General History

Students of the department will acquire a knowledge of history and understanding of historical processes. Students will study the political, social, economic, and cultural development of Europe and America, their ancient Greek and Roman legacies, and the impact of Christian culture. It also explores their connections and relations with the rest of the world. The department offers single major and double major programs for B.A. students. The goal of the B.A. program is to provide a knowledge base, train students in critical thinking, and equip them with basic building blocks for scientific and historical research.
Starting with the 2018-2019 school year, students will be able to register for a Bachelor’s Degree program with a duration of two years. Students will be able to complete their bachelor’s degree in two years, including a summer semester. Scholarships are awarded to students with a psychometric score of 610 and over.

- A weighted score of 560 ( single major) or the special admission requirements of the Faculty of Humanities.
- Departmental English requirements : candidates’ knowledge of English must meet the proficiency standards set at the level termed “Advanced A”

Employment options upon graduation: Graduates receive a broad education that is needed for understanding the global world, and for developing skills that will equip them to integrate knowledge from different disciplines. They also acquire skills in data processing and analytical and scientific analysis, and can understand long and short term processes that enable them to work in the present dynamic and demanding environment.
